The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a sports venue owned by Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, located in the heart of Castellana, in the Chamartín district of Madrid, Spain. It was inaugurated on December 14, 1947 and its current capacity is 78,297 spectators.1 The stadium is classified by UEFA with the highest distinction, "elite stadium". It has recently undergone an important remodeling that has turned it into a building with an architecture on its facades with a really advanced design and a very striking aesthetic. It is completely covered with a folding roof and in case of rain no spectator would withstand the effects of the water. You have much more information on Wikipedia. Thanks for your comments.
Your photo of the new Santiago Bernabéu Stadium's facades is absolutely stunning! I saw the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium many years ago. Madrid is a marvelous town to visit. I also visited Malaga, Torremolinos and Barcelona.
I missed yesterday's--- but it AND this one are great additions to the series. I'd really like to know more about the building.
